I had a wonderful year of art in 2004 and thank all of you who came to the shows for your support that allows me to keep expressing myself in the world this way! Last year, one of the highlights for me was a trip to Ireland. I never knew there were so many shades of green. I have loved painting the Irish landscape, which is filled with color and a very special quality of feeling like you step back in time. It also seems I am becoming well known for the poppies I paint…part of the mystery of art for me is what attracts you, the buyer to a painting….this past year it must have been red!!! I am making some of these poppy paintings available as limited edition giclee prints on canvas. You can see these on my website at www.debiart.com.
